The beauty is in the process. I will share what I have faced in my remaining days before my move.
- What to pack?
- What makes me whole?
- Facing emotional hurdles & Enjoy the moment
I have overcome the thought of leaving a comfortable life behind, even after a few tears shed. I won’t cry because it’s over, but I will cry because it happened. I sure as heck don’t want to let my dreams be dreams and will continue pushing the boundaries of how I can open up to the world.

No matter how many articles I read about moving across the world, nothing will teach me more than just going out and learning from the process itself.
IS THERE A CHECKLIST?
I have already started packing with items that will get me through daily hobbies like surf and bike-related products, but I often wonder “How important clothing is compared to non-clothing related items?” I ask this because I do feel that my hobbies in surfing and biking are a big part of my life. In a way, I find them more important to my transition of moving accross the world than the clothes on my back.
That being said, I have a suitcase that consists of mostly bike and surfing attire, bike parts, camping supplies, and toiletries. Having such items help me feel complete and that I can sustain a similar life balance even in a different continent.
How our free time is spent can dictate daily precedent. I have found that setting time aside to enjoy these hobbies can increase my productivity for work, relationships, and family.

I have accomplished a lot by accepting thoughts that are purely human nature and being able to part with personal items. Now it is about using my time wisely to keep moving forward in life and not attaching to these items or thoughts.
I feel refreshed! Preparing for this move has really highlighted what is important to me and what I really need to feel whole.
These are the good habits before moving.
